LOWA company headquarter in Jetzendorf

Mission Statement

Our philosophy

With this mission statement, we aim to provide our staff and other stakeholders with a clear overview of what LOWA stands for in each of the relevant fields. What is it that defines our brand and our identity, what is our philosophy, what are our values and how do we understand the idea of responsibility.

We practise loyalty, integrity, trust, honesty and respect. These values guide us as LOWA’s management team in our daily dealings with our employees and our customers. But, of course, they apply not only to us, but also to our employees, business partners and producers, both inside and outside Germany.

Our mission statement also serves as a guide for our actions and can be used in decision-making, both internally and externally.

LOWA-Corporate Principles

**Simply more…

It is a slogan that has defined our business for years and captures the true spirit of LOWA as a company – its zest for “simply more…”!

We are a global outdoor company that never forgets its roots. We develop, produce and sell footwear, all the while pursuing three overarching goals: the best quality, a perfect fit and innovation in all areas.

This commitment is reflected in every aspect of our business and extends well beyond the boundaries of the company’s operations. We are driven by sustainable company growth, not short-term trends. Traditional values such as trust, honesty and respect shape our business. We apply these principles not only to our daily interactions with one another, but also to our business relationships.

Our company is built on a rock-solid foundation: the production of the very best products. And we make no compromises in ensuring this. We want to offer consumers the best possible out-door experience with our products.

Moreover, we are always aware of the responsibility we have toward our customers, retailers, partners, suppliers and producers. In this era of globalisation, we purposely apply a philosophy of “Made in Europe” – and require our business partners and producers to adhere to our Code of Conduct.

Our employees are our most precious resource. We embrace diversity, pay fair wages, offer social benefits and support our employees individually in their development. We work as a team and truly believe in the products we create.

As an international outdoor brand, nature is our lifeblood, and we treat it with care. We use resources sparingly and systematically consider sustainability in our development work. Our roots are in Bavaria, and we have a strong commitment to the local region. However, our char-itable efforts go far beyond Bavaria’s borders: we support a number of projects and charities both within and outside of Germany.
